alright everyone.
to clarify a few things.
1. here's who's on the committee and their main roles:kristen falk - major decisions being made, printing cards and invites, spending money, decorations, website, newspaper ads, emailing people, generally stressing out
susan demers - phone calls, monetary things, finding raffle prizes, booking the dj and hall, and keeping kristen sane
melissa savalonis - helping find lost classmates addresses, general idea input on what's happening, other support roles
christina abronze - general "things" (like finding the venue) and helping susan other stuff
so if you hear from these people, it's probably safe to assume it's about the reunion.
2. everyone is welcome to come to the reunion. bring friends or people from other years. in fact, EHS people can come too since they aren't having one. contact us at fermi95class@yahoo.com for more info!3. food at the reunion includes salad, snacks, and home baked desserts. as well as pizza.4. just to completely clarify the situation, the cost of the ticket is not *only* for the cost of the food.5. i know a lot of people hated high school. but this is not high school! maybe you even hated everyone in high school. you aren't required to come to this, you should only come if you want to see what people are doing. who knows, maybe they've changed. i would like to think i have. and i would like to see what people have decided to do with their lives. i think we are probably some of the most interesting people we'll ever meet.
i appreciate everyone's comments on the website, but i'm trying to keep things positive. i've spoken to many people from other walks of life and have discovered that reunions are not for everyone. people have also told me $35 is cheap for a reunion, so i'm really not sure what to say.
but i'm through defending myself. come if you want, don't if you don't. it's gonna be fun so maybe we could stop hating each other and just make it a party!
